Undergraduate Students
Applicants for all undergraduate programs of study must present a high school transcript reflecting satisfactory completion of a standard secondary course of study. Baptist College of Ministry recognizes and supports the right of parents to educate their children at home and thus accepts graduates of home education programs as well as traditional classroom schools. Baptist College of Ministry desires to recognize college-level academic work that students have successfully completed at recognized degree-granting colleges, universities, or seminaries. Each transfer student’s college transcript(s) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and the student will be advised of which courses will be accepted for transfer credit. The guidelines that follow will normally be used in evaluating a student’s transcript, but the Administration may, at its sole discretion, change, make exceptions, or add to these internal policies as it deems appropriate in order to maintain the academic integrity of the institution and to meet most effectively the academic needs of its students. When evaluating the transferability of credit, the decisions of the Administration are final. |
